LIBERTINE DREAMS – IT’S NOT THE SAME

We are told that we’re looking through rose-colored glasses when we reminisce or think of all the good times we’ve had in the past. We are also told that sometimes, most times, it’s better to let the past stay in the past and not revisit it.

A few days ago, I visited a club that I used to frequent about ten to twelve years ago when I was living in New Orleans. I’m not going to cast aspersions, and I’ll be as tactful and tasteful as I can, but this place is not the same. Well, it is the same in some ways… What I mean by that is that some of the same talent is still there.

Usually, a girl will have retired from the pole after five or six years. Some will go a little longer, especially if they’ve taken care of themselves and were drug-free. There’s always a waitress spot or at the front desk or back office, and if they’re lucky, they can get a housemom gig. The tips are pretty good.

Maybe I’m spoiled being in Dallas so long, where the clubs are some of the best in the nation. Or, maybe it’s gone down from when I used to have fun. I was friends with and dated quite a few of the girls. This was all before Hurricane Katrina, of course. Nothing was the same after that. And, quite possible that is what happened to Visions. It could be that it never fully recovered. I don’t know.

There are other clubs in New Orleans to visit if I decide that I want to go downtown to the French Quarter. However, as a native, it’s not really ideal.

The French Quarter is a tourist trap. A shakedown. It’s not very hospitable for New Orleanians, and it’s one of the reasons that, unless you’re employed at one of the establishments, live down there, or go there to hustle visitors, it’s not a place where any of us really want to be near.

I used to have a “lifetime” membership at Rick’s Cabaret. Notice I said I used to. How could I “used to have” a lifetime membership? On my last visit, back like in 2002, Rick’s had gone through an ownership and management change, and my membership was no longer valid. At least that was what they’d told me at the door. They basically stole my money. I’d decided then that I wasn’t ever going to go back, and I haven’t.

There are a couple of Larry Flint clubs, and I think that there is still The Gold Club, but I never really enjoyed those. I just wasn’t comfortable and never really had a good time. It just didn’t do it for me.

I will be here in New Orleans for the time being, but I have quite a few friends in Dallas, and I’m missing them dearly. I’m also missing the clubs, too.

I’ll see what happens after the holidays. I may pay a visit to Dallas. Even if I just stay for a week or two and come on back home. Maybe that will be my party place, and New Orleans will remain my home base.

Hmm… I’m going to start working on that right now. Just as soon as I remove these glasses.

LIBERTINE DREAMS – IT’S A HOTSPOT

It was a beautiful Saturday a couple of days ago from today. On my way home to take a quick break, I happened to pass by Bachman Station. It’s a stop for the Green Line and Orange Line DART rail trains and buses near Harry Hines and Northwest Highway.

It’s a hotspot for criminal activity and is well known for being a dangerous station along the way to the DFW Airport on the Orange Line and towards the city of Carrollton on the Green Line.

I’d asked one of the officers if someone had gotten hurt. He replied, telling me that it was a crime scene. I then asked if someone had been killed? He repeated that it was a crime scene. I told him that I understood, thanked him, and went on my way.

Seeing the detectives in plain clothes and the unmarked cars along with the police cars and yellow tape, I had an idea of what had happened.

I checked the internet, and my suspicion was confirmed. Again, someone was shot and killed at Bachman Station.

I’ve used that station and have passed through it on more occasions than I could even try and remember. I’ve seen a lot.

Sometimes Dallas can be a madhouse. I’ve nicknamed it Gotham City because it reminds me of how wild it is in Batman’s world.

I must continue to remind myself to be careful and to always be completely aware of my surroundings at all times.

LIBERTINE DREAMS – KARYN IS MY FAT BOTTOM GIRL

It was about 1:45 a.m., and I was coming in when I heard an old song come on the radio. It was “Dig” by Incubus. It and “What I’ve Done” by Linkin Park are special to me. They bring me back to a time when I was on top of my game.

I was in fantastic shape physically, my money was overflowing, my Corvette was garage-kept and was only about two years old with hardly any mileage on it.

I had plenty of females around, my wardrobe was tops, I hung out in all the best strip clubs every night, and I lived in an incredibly expensive and exclusive apartment in Las Colinas.

My life was fantastic.

I was near my old digs, just about a mile and a half away on Northwest Highway near Riverside. In the past, I would have taken that right turn on Riverside and headed home. But now I continue on to my room in a hotel. Not as nice as my apartment, but it’s not bad considering my current financial circumstances.

But, for a brief moment, it was 2008 again, and I was back in time.

Ironically, I got a call from an old friend last night. I’ll call her Karyn. She’d been gone for a few years and was back in Dallas.

She’d told me that she was ready to get back to work at Bucks Cabaret. Remember, I was just there a few nights ago after being out of the loop for years. It didn’t get lost on me that Karyn just be my way back in. I say that because it’s always good to know someone on the inside when you’re on the outside. It’s as if all this was meant to be.

She’d said that she was so happy that I’d kept my same phone number and that she was looking for some coke and was wondering if I still had my connect. I told her yes and that I could make a call.

She then began trying to negotiate and even offered herself for a bit of fun in exchange. I was never a trick, and I’m all about getting paid, but I have, on occasion in the past, let a bit of small get away from me to help relieve some built-up pressure. But that was with a limited few, maybe one or two. It was never a practice of putting anything before my money.

But Karyn is a fat-bottom Latina with a gorgeous face and large natural breasts. I admit, it may be hard to turn down her offer. However, I can find her useful down the line, especially if she gets back on at Bucks.

LIBERTINE DREAMS – SHE WAS BROWN WITH BEAUTIFUL BLACK HAIR

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a gentlemen’s club. Working full-time, creating stories, content, shooting videos, and working hard

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a gentlemen’s club.

Working full time, creating stories, content, shooting videos, and working hard on my self-funded movie project, my libertine side has taken a back seat for what seems like forever and a day, but it’s definitely time for that to change.

I’m much older than I was when I was in the clubs almost every night. That young version of me was all the way in and committed to the life. It seems like such a long time ago. However, it’s never too late to get back in where you fit in.

Will I still draw the attention of the beautiful young ladies as I once did? Getting in my best shape and adding a brand new wardrobe won’t hurt, that’s for sure. Unfortunately, I can’t make myself any younger, so I have to work with what I’ve got as far as looks go.

How did it go tonight? Well, I went to a club that is known for being bougie, talent and staff. The whole atmosphere is as if, “You’re not really welcomed, we’ll tolerate you…for now, but, unless you have a ton of money to spend, we suggest you only look at and admire our dyed blonde, fake boobed, lyposucked, lip-injected beauties. If they insult you or are rude, take that as a compliment. You’re lucky they even gave you any attention at all. If you don’t like it, good. We don’t need you.” If you’re from Dallas, you probably know the club I’m speaking of. However, I don’t remember it being as pretentious. Maybe it’s me. It’s been a while, and I don’t know anyone there anymore.

I then went down and across the road a bit to Buck’s Cabaret. It didn’t disappoint. It’s the same as I’d remembered. All new faces, though. Many beautiful girls of all ethnicities. The music was great, and it had a nice crowd. This is a Tuesday. That’s impressive.

I caught a couple eyes and some attention. One had passed me a few times. She was brown with beautiful black hair. She was shapely and mature. I wasn’t sure if she was on staff or was a dancer. Girls will often pass by to give you an opportunity to stop them to talk.

On my way out, I decided to approach her and say a few words. She saw me and we both smiled. However, a guy with a bottled beer up to his lips unknowingly cut in front of me and stepped to her. I backed away a few steps and put my flirt on pause.

He was a talker, though. The more he talked, the closer he got to her. She’d side-eyed me a couple times as if she was asking me to hold on a few moments, but I’d decided that I’d have to catch up with her another time.

I’m still playing it cool and feeling my way. There’s no need to rush anything. Maybe I’ll see her next time.

There are a couple more clubs I want to check out again, but Buck’s Cabaret will no doubt be one of my favorites.
