“Set shit off, huh?”

We all took the sofa in front of the pile of cash Cami had laid out on the coffee table. “How much we got?”

They pored through, edging, facing, and counting. Sway looked to me. “This will probably be about sixteen hundred right here when we’re done.”

“That’s from both of you?”

“Yes.”

“That’s pretty good…. You know, I was just thinking. How about we take that and get another place?”

“That sounds good.”

“Demi may just be talking shit, but I’m not feeling it. I’m not feeling it at all. Besides, we need more space for Cami. She should have her own bed and somewhere to put her things.

“And speaking of things. Once we get settled in tomorrow, let’s take her shopping. She shouldn’t have to be sharing. Let’s get her some outfits and some makeup… You know, all the lady things… It’s going to be tight, but I’ll throw in some cash with this…”

The girls were full of mirth. Cami looked to Sway. “Are you going to tell him?”

“You can tell him if you want.”

“I want you to tell him.”

“Go ahead, tell him.”

“Will somebody please tell me whatever it is?”

“Get it, Cami.”

“Okay…” She reached into her purse and pulled five stacks of crisp hundred-dollar bills wrapped in wide rubber bands and handed them to me. “What do you think, Daddy? I mean, Andre.”

“Fuck!” I passed them back and forward from one hand to the other. “What’s this? Where’d this come from?”

“That’s all Cami. I had nothing to do with it.”

“You made this all by yourself?”

“Yup.”

“She told the customer that her ex-boyfriend was drunk and wouldn’t let her drive, and crashed them into a pole and nearly killed her.

“He felt bad when she pulled her hair back and showed him the swelling.”

“And he gave her this to what…?”

“It was to help pay some of her bills until she could get back on her feet. She told him that she was a packer at Amazon and had lost her job.”

“So let me guess… You started dancing…because you couldn’t find work anywhere else…blah blah blah…”

“Yup!”

“He has to be rich.”

“He’s got a lot of money, Daddy… I mean, Andre. I’m so sorry. I’m just used to…”

“Do you want to call me daddy?”

Cami shook her head. “Yes, I would love to.”

“Can I have a hug?” Sway leaned back as Cami reached across, stealing a kiss from my cheek.

I looked to Sway. She smiled. “See?”

“Yeah… I see, Sway… I see.”

HOME – 12:48 p.m.

I awoke, looking towards the fold-out, and it was empty. I peeked next to Sway, and there was Cami.

When I came out of the shower, the two were awake. “Okay, ladies… Who’s ready for move day?”

Sway looked to Cami. “I am. What about you?”

“Yes!”

I joked. “Maybe we can save some money by getting another room with only one bed.”

Cami, seated in the recliner, dropped her head. “I was lonely.”

Sway consoled. “It’s okay. There was plenty of room…” She grinned. “But you can’t get dick from my man… Not yet, bitch.”

“I know… I know the game. We have to get that Bentley first.”

“There you go.” Cami sighed, scanning me from head to toe. “He’s fine, bitch. I know. You want to see what’s under that towel, don’t you?”

“Can I?”

“You brought in five racks. I guess you can have a peek.”

Sway teased her way over, standing behind me. She tugged with her index. “Come here, bitch.” Sway reached around to the front of my towel, opening the flap, exposing my semi erection.

Cami’s eyes widened as she knelt before me. “Damn! His shit is huge!”

“That motherfucker hits the bottom of my pussy every time, girl.”

“It’s so fucking thick!”

“Yes! That was my first thought when I saw it.”

Sway grabbed my sack and shaft, shaking me in her grip. “That’s fucking all man, Cami. Look at it. Sniff it! Smell it!”

“Mmm, it looks so good.”

HOME 4:17 a.m.

Sway had already sent me a text, letting me know that they were working after hours with a few of Holly’s VIP customers.

Being that it was Demi who’d gotten Sway on at the club and also hated Holly, I sort of knew that at some point, there was going to be trouble.

In the dead quiet, I could hear the giggling whispers from down the hall. Sway entered first. “Hey, Daddy. How are you?”

“I’m okay.”

The two laid their bags on the bed. “Hey, Andre…” Cami looked to Sway. “Is that what I call him? Do I say Daddy, too?”

I laughed. “Call me Andre, Cami.”

“Oh, okay.” She grinned as she took off to the bathroom.

Sway sat next to me. She lowered her voice. “How are you making out?”

“I’m not even sure.”

“Do you want to go outside?”

“Yeah.”

We took the stoop by the side exit. Sway stood, resting on the railing. She smiled warmly. “You know I love you, right?”

“Yeah, I know… You didn’t tell Cami anything, did you?”

“No! Never. I’m taking that to the grave.”

I lowered my head. “I don’t know.”

“Is it weighing on you?”

“It is and it isn’t. I know he deserved it, no doubt. But was it my…? Was it supposed to be me to deliver his fate?

“Like… I didn’t even think the shit through. I put you and Cami at risk. I could have fucked us all up, you know?

“I went straight with my emotions… I didn’t even give you the opportunity to… You may have wanted that revenge… I robbed you of that.

“I didn’t… I don’t know, Sway… And trust me, I have no remorse. I’d do it again a million times over.

“I think that, because I love you so much, even the thought of someone doing something to you…”

“I understand what you’re saying, baby. Let me say this, okay? You didn’t take anything from me. I’m not sure if I could have done it.

“I know I can kill a motherfucker if I have to. But that whole scene has me fucked up in my head.

“Like, no matter what was done to me, I’m hesitant… But on the other hand, it felt good to beat the shit out of Mandy.”

I smiled. “You looked like you enjoyed it too.”

“I did. The more of her ass I kicked, the more the weight on me was lifted. I felt lighter after every punch.

“And then when you told me about Gerald, it’s like I could fly. That demon was gone. It’s gone forever.” She paused, looking outward. She then turned to me. “Andre… I thought I’d be Rosebud’s whore until the day I died or when he decided he was done with me and killed me himself. I couldn’t see anything beyond that.”

“Come here.” I patted the spot next to me. Sway hurried. I turned to her, looking her deep into her eyes. “Sway… I love you more than life itself. I would do anything for you. Do you understand that?”

“I do.” I pressed my lips to hers. We kissed. We parted. “Did you feel that, Andre?”

“Like our spirits just melded into each other’s?”

“We just became one; a whole. That means that no one can ever come between us.”

We were startled by the opening door. “I was wondering where you two went. How about somebody leave me a note or something? I can read, you know? Why do you guys keep leaving me?”

Sway grinned. “We just had to come out and talk, that’s all. We’re not leaving you, Cami.”

“I’ve been worried. I don’t know what’s going on. You can tell me. I’m down for whatever.”

“I know that, and he knows that. Everything’s good.”

Cami smiled. “Okay… You’re sure?”

“We’re sure.”

“Good. Now I’d like to show Andre how much money I brought in tonight.”

“Oh, shit…” Sway stood, tugging at my elbow. “Baby, come on. You won’t believe it. Plus, we have to tell you all about your friend.”

“Demi?”

“Yes!”

As we walked to the elevator, Sway and Cami broke it all down. “Baby, you remember the last of the forty bags we had for Demi?”

“Yeah, you said you’d keep them with you for her.”

“Well, she didn’t like the idea of that.”

“She didn’t want to buy from you?”

“No, she was pissed, talking about she was the one who made you, and without her, you wouldn’t be shit, and how now she had to buy from your new whore.”

“She said that about me? To your face?”

We exited, heading to the room. “In front of everybody! All the girls heard it. She was acting like you were her man.”

“Come on… Get the fuck!”

“I’m serious. She was making such a scene that the manager had to come over and break it up.”

“What?!”

Cami cut in. “Then she tried to rat on Sway, saying that she was selling coke in the club and to check her locker.”

I paused in my tracks. “Demi? This can’t be true.”

Cami continued. “Yes, it is. The manager then told her that…” She looked to Sway for confirmation. “That as much drugs as she does, she was lucky that he hadn’t fired her ass a long time ago.”

“The fuck…”

“That’s when Demi started crying. She ran off the floor, talking about how she was going to set shit off.
