Back in June, I was involved in a tremendous auto accident.
I was concussed, lost memory, use of my right arm, and was in constant pain.
After treatment, I made a full recovery.
However, it came at a cost. The at-fault driver not only didn’t have insurance, he didn’t even have a driver’s license.
At about 19 years old and living at home with his parents, outside the damage to the vehicle he was driving, had no worries. Unfortunately for me, it wasn’t he case.
The car I was driving was my only means of transportation, and a hustler without wheels ain’t a successful hustler. Transportation is a must.
Not being able to get back right away was financially devastating.
I’m not going to go into a pity party rant on how unfair it was. That’s not my take on life.
I believe in continuing the journey. Setbacks will happen. You just have to keep going.
The new wheels.

“Nope… I don’t ever want you to do that. What else you got?”
“Well… You already know I can move coke in the clubs, especially at Ecstasy. We’ll need to make twenties.”
“True. That could help for sure. You got rid of that quick. I’m with it, but it’ll have to be when I’m there with you. I can’t leave you alone on that track. It’s too fast. It’s hot.”
“I know… I can’t get in without an escort anyway. So we got that, and with what you already have.”
“Right.”
“But that’s still not enough. Not for what we want.”
“Over time, it is.”
“Is it?”
“What are you suggesting?”
“I was thinking that maybe I could take Demi up on her offer.”
“At Big John’s?”
“Yeah, I could probably move a lot there too. You won’t have to be with me, so I won’t be holding you up from your runs.”
“That could also save Demi from having to drop by… She’ll be right there.” I grinned. “Was that your plan? Are you trying to keep Demi from coming over?”
“No, I would never let my personal feelings get in the way of us getting where we need to be.” Sway paused, smiling. “I mean… I’d prefer we be able to be home alone and not interrupted every night at two-thirty in the morning.”
“I knew it!”
“I’m a woman, Andre. I’m always going to be jealous.”
“I know, I know… I believe you. Especially after that thing with Solo. You saved that business.”
“So what do you think?”
“Do you even know how to dance?”
“I can dance enough.”
“Okay… I guess I’ll be picking you up and dropping you off…”
“You don’t have to. I can take a Lyft or an Uber. Nobody’s going to pull over a driver. It’s safer.”
“I never thought of that… Sway, you’re very smart… Very clever.” I pondered. “Do you have a bank account?”
“No… What for?”
“The Lyft? You have to have a bank account or a card, don’t you?”
“You send me. Call it for me.”
“How about we just get you a bank account?”
“I don’t need a bank account. I want you to take care of all the money. I’ll bring it and put it in your hand as I make it.”
“And what if something happens to me? Wouldn’t I need you to take care of things until I get back?”
“You’re right. Why are we talking about all of this now anyway? I’m ruining my honeymoon. What’s the plan for tonight?”
“I’m taking you to the movies.”
“Cinepolis?”
“The Angelika.”
“Never heard of it.”
“It’s out by Mockingbird.”
“Still don’t know it.”
“They show a lot of indies and old school movies.”
“I know you like those. What are we seeing?”
“Well, we have a few choices. The Exorcist is some kind of scary shit where a young girl is possessed by the devil.”
“That’s going to be a no for me.”
“’Purple Rain’”.
“I’ve seen that on VH1 like ten times.”
“The only one left is The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I read that it’s one of the biggest cult movies ever made. It’s supposed to be really good.”
“That sounds scary, too.”
“I think it’s like… It’s scary, but it’s more like…a musical with monster people. But it’s like funny too.”
“Ooh, let’s see that!”
“Bet!”
“I’m sure you’re hungry. We have to get you something to eat first.” Sway paused, staring. “Why are you smiling at me like that?”
“Have you noticed something… You seem to fill in all my blanks. Like whatever I can’t figure out, you have the answer for it.”
“I’ve been thinking the same thing about you! Whatever I need or when I need you… You’re right there!”
“We complete each other.”
“Or are completing each other.”
“Exactly. You just made sense again.”
“We’re about to be a powerful pair. Are you even ready for this?”
“I know the world isn’t.”
“It’s going to be ours.”
“Let’s conquer it.”
“I’m going to make you a rich man, Andre.”
“Make us rich.”
“Make us rich.”

I hadn’t mentioned it in my first post when I’d introduced Kaylee.
She’d stated that it was hard to nearly impossible to get any quality coke out on the blade. She’d complained that everything she’d scored and had done continually made her nose bleed.
I’d informed her that I had the best connect in Dallas and that when I did favors for friends, it was served as I’d gotten it and was never touched or stepped on for extra profit.
After trying a bit from my personal party stash, she was beyond impressed and was definitely onboard. She wanted to buy whatever I had.
KAYLEE
“Can I get some? What do you have?”
ME
“Nothing on me. What I gave you was left over from yesterday. I’d gotten something for a friend of mine. I usually let it pile up and keep it around for when I have female company and they want to party a bit.”
KAYLEE
“So, why aren’t you hustling it? You could be king out here with the girls. This is fire.”
ME
“Even though I’ve been around it forever, it was just never my thing.”
KAYLEE
“Dude, instead of slaving yourself for ten to twelve hours a day, you could be on top. And I don’t mean that in any disrespectful way…”
ME
“I understand what you’re saying, but… I’ve made my money promoting shows, concerts, recording music in my studio…back in New Orleans and working as an actor.”
KAYLEE
She stared. “But that was then, you’re here now. You told me you’re making a movie and that you need funding to do it. It’s going to take you forever.”
ME
“That is true. Everything changed after the pandemic…”
KAYLEE
“Can you get some or not? I need you, and I can help you come up. I have girls that are going to love this.”
ME
I paused, thinking hard. “Okay. I’ll definitely do it for you, but anyone you bring to me will have to meet my standard. They’ll have to be on your level. I’m not going to fuck with low-class trash. All money ain’t good money, and I don’t need to deal with drama.”
KAYLEE
“If I bring you a girl. She’ll be right.”
Kaylee began calling me at a minimum of three times a week, sometimes four. I’d meet her on the track, quick exchange, and we’d move our separate ways. Everything was smooth.
I began to see from a business perspective, it was very profitable and that if I continued to grow my clientele, I could be back up with a quickness.
That would give me more time to create content and, most importantly, have the funding and the ability to get back to producing my movie.
JUNE – 19th, 2024
I’d gotten a call from Kaylee, saying that she and her girlfriend were out on the blade and wanted to score. I thought to myself that she was, for the first time, not alone. Kaylee had come through, just as she’d promised.
Sunny could have easily passed for Kaylee’s sister.
They were built the same, had blonde hair and blue eyes with the thick juicy thighs and plump asses. They are two fluff-bunnies.
After the exchanges, Sunny took my number.

From the corner of my eye, I noticed a law, cruising, slowing, focusing on Sway and I.
Clenching my teeth, I leaned close to Sway’s ear. “The police. Don’t panic… Just be calm.”
“Where?” As she cut a look, a second car pulled behind.
The first officer stopped, exited, and approached. “How are you folks doing tonight?”
I flashed a corny grin, eyeing his long, lanky frame. “We’re good… How about yourself?”
“Thank you. The reason I’m speaking to you is that we had a description of a couple…that matches you two, in a parking garage a few blocks up the way…” His dark, beady eyes scanned us carefully. “Do you know anything about that?”
“A parking garage? No, not at all. We walked here. Didn’t even take a car.”
“You walked?”
“Yes.”
“May I ask where you walked from?”
“Our hotel.”
“And what hotel is that?”
“The W.”
“Oh… And you’re going to the House of Blues?”
“Yes. The concert starts at nine. We came to see the jazz band. We were just admiring this building.”
“I’m sorry to have bothered. It’s obvious you’re not car thieves.”
“Car thieves…?” I looked to Sway. We laughed absurdly at the idea.
“Yeah, two individuals entered, hiding their faces, tried to break into or steal a Chevy Suburban. They’re on camera… Looks like they were trying to open the hood, maybe. Probably to disengage the alarm. Seems they either couldn’t get into the vehicle, or they may have heard a noise or something and took off.”
“Could you see what their faces looked like?”
“Luckily for them, they were in a blind spot.”
“Oh, wow. That’s too bad.”
“It happens.”
“At least they didn’t get to steal anything.”
“Right! That’s true!” He turned, walking to his car. “Have a nice night…and enjoy the jazz band!”
Sway and I danced, partied, and had gotten piss drunk. The night air had stiffened us just enough to make the trek back to our room.
JANUARY 31, 2020
THE W – HOTEL ROOM
I opened my eyes, focusing. Sway was standing, smiling. “What time is it?” I looked out through the windows. “Why are you up so early?”
“It’s not early.”
“The sun is coming up.”
“It’s going down.”
“Oh, fuck no… How long have I been asleep?”
“All day.”
“You didn’t wake me.”
“I wanted you to let you get as much rest as you could.”
“Ha, ha, smart ass. What have you been doing all this time?”
“I went out.”
“Out? Out where? Why didn’t you tell me…?”
“I left you a note.”
“A note?”
“So you could know where I was.”
“Where did you go?”
“Well, let’s see. I took some money out of your wallet and had lunch… Then I came back up, you were still asleep, and after I got bored from watching TV, I started looking at your booking receipts and everything.
“Did you know that the spa was part of your package?”
“No. You went to the spa?”
“The best time I’ve ever had. I had a manicure…” Sway held out her fingernails and then pointed to her toes. “A pedicure and a massage. That little Asian lady is fantastic.” I laughed out loud. “You should go and see her. I’m a whole new person.”
Sway hopped into bed next to me. She leaned up on one elbow. She toyed with my ear and stroked my hair. “Baby, it’s probably not the time to ask you this… This is our honeymoon… But I want to know something.”
“Sure, anything…”
“Don’t be all defensive and macho, alright? Tell me the truth.”
“What is it?”
“How much money do we have saved?”
“I like how you say we.”
“We’re in this together, aren’t we?”
“Yes… We are.”
“Well?”
“It’s not looking good.”
“I’m more than sure. All this is expensive. I know what you spent. It’s insane.”
“I wanted it to be special.”
“It is, and I love you for it. I love all of it. I appreciate you and everything you’ve done for me, Andre. You saved my life. I will never forget that… But I can do a lot too. I can help.”
“I’m not sure I like where this is going.”
“Where do you think it’s going?”
“Are you talking about turning tricks again?”
“I would do that for us.”
